flower gardens welcome residents to their comfortable Privately-Owned Garden Homes
maintained with the usual pride of home ownership.
Inside,
the homes are as different as the people who live in them.
Decorated in cool blues, warm earth tones or an eclectic blend, each
reflects the individual tastes and interests of its owners.
In
the late 1970’s, Foxwood Springs became the first retirement community
in the United States to offer home ownership. Residents of
Privately-Owned Garden Homes enjoy the
benefits of homeowners
anywhere, subject only to guidelines explained in the Home Owner’s
Manual.
Garden Homes offer a variety of floor plans
ranging from 848 square feet to approximately 1,434 square feet.
Available with one or two bedrooms and one to two bathrooms, the
homes include such thoughtful features as outlets placed high on the
walls, thermal pane windows and front and rear patios. Smoke
detectors and emergency pull cords are connected to two
locations in the Community Building, allowing for around the clock
monitoring. Kitchens feature a built-in range,
dishwasher and compactor furnished and maintained by Foxwood Springs.
Water and sewer services are provided at no expense.
Residents
of Privately-Owned Garden Homes pay a monthly fee that covers the following amenities:

from studio apartments for the single individual who plans to spend a
lot of time on other activities, to two-bedroom apartments,
there is sure to be a perfect plan for you. The one-bedroom
apartments offer convenience and efficiency, while the larger
two-bedroom apartments feature walk-in closets and the conveniences of a
small home with the comfort of apartment
living. And when you add your own furniture and creative
decorating touches, your Apartment becomes your haven for relaxing and
enjoying life at Foxwood Springs.
