FSTV (Foxwood Springs Television) is the in-house closed-circuit TV station, which serves as the communication center of our community.  We are one of the few retirement communities offering this service.

Operated by resident volunteers, FSTV provides continuous announcements of community interest plus a variety of programs. These include interviews, informational presentations by experts, legislators, and human interest stories taped off-campus.  The TV studio programs are planned and produced by resident volunteers.

The Rolling News, which runs around the clock seven days a week, is a series of separate messages of interest to residents including announcements about upcoming events.

Each day, Monday thru Friday, there is a forty-five minute morning show called The Foxwood Connection.  The show features a wide variety of topics such as devotions, reading the day’s activities and a special feature.  Residents, staff and special guests are interviewed.  Local people such as the mayor and superintendent of schools are regularly invited to update on happenings in their area.

The FSTV daily schedule also includes an Exercise Program.  The Foxwood Connection is shown again in the afternoon as well as the evening, with the evening showing followed by fifteen minutes of quiet time pictures.
